Joy Ranch
Our mission is to provide a Christ-centered home, not just a place to live. Each of our cottages is set up 'family-style' with loving, relational house-parents. Our house-parents work alongside every child to love and care for them, while also advocating for them, empowering them, and instilling Christian values. Joy Ranch works from a trauma-informed approach to ensure our children receive sensitive care.
Joy Ranch provides a safe and secure home for children coming from difficult, painful situations. Some of our kids are in the foster care system, and some are placed here privately. All of our kids are considered a part of our family for as little or as long as they are with us. When our kids come to live with us, we ensure they have access to holistic care, including check-ups, dentist appointments, counseling services, and home cooked meals!
Free Clinic of Twin Counties
Our Goals
To have a freestanding, financially viable, community supported clinic staffed by employees and volunteers to provide health, dental, and pharmacy services to indigent patients.
Mission Statement
To improve healthcare access for low-income, uninsured residents of Carroll, Grayson, or City of Galax demonstrating the value of community collaboration in an accountable healthcare project that utilizes the charitable gifts of a network of voluntary providers.
God’s Storehouse
God’s Storehouse Soup Kitchen is a non-profit organization on a mission to help those in need including the homeless, children in foster care, low income families, those suffering trauma or addictions and many more. We have been providing the Galax community with free hot meals since 2014.
We also offer “Celebrate Recovery,” a Christ centered recovery program in which God ministers to those with hurts, habits or hang-ups - now with two ministry locations, one in Galax Virginia and one in Fries, Virginia.

The mission of Hope House is to provide a Christ-based recovery program for the homeless and the hurting that will help them to be healthy, happy, productive and self-sufficient.

The purpose of Hope Center Ministries is to provide men and women with the opportunity to overcome their drug and alcohol addiction through their faith.
Our program is designed to show these individuals how to find peace and lasting freedom from their addictions through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Sunshine Children’s Center
OUR PURPOSE
Is to provide ministry and outreach focused on charitable and religious purposes done in the name of and to promote the cause of the Gospel of Jesus Christ including, but not limited to, establishing facilities and programs necessary to provide for the comfort, health, nurture, education, spiritual development and welfare of children and their families who may have spiritual, emotional, physical or other special needs.
